President's Message

Spring is a season of renewal—and in infection prevention, it reminds us of the ongoing need to refresh our practices, reinvigorate our programs, and reconnect with one another. Thank you for everything you do each day to protect patients, staff, and our communities. Your work continues to be the foundation of safe, high‑quality care.

As temperatures rise, so do certain infection risks. While respiratory virus season may be over, spring brings fluctuating trends. Continue reinforcing respiratory etiquette and hand hygiene. Stay vigilant outdoors. Remember Lyme disease is on it’s way!

Spring is a popular season for exam prep for the CIC or LTC-CIP.  Members are encouraged to attend our 3-day Fundamentals education in the near future. Stay tuned!
